The allure of his potatoes, source of his livelihood, seems to be petering out.

Until last year, Ugyen, from Chokhortoe in Bumthang, made close to Nu 90,000 (gross) a season selling potatoes. He has devoted four langdos (a langdo is one-third of an acre) exclusively to the tuber.    [read more]
