For households at elevations above 2,900 m (Ura, Phobji and Gangte) the value of potato typically represents over 80 percent of the agriculture production and accounts for almost 100 percent of the agriculture products sold. In these locations it is not unusual for a household to sell potato worth Nu. 2 -300,000 annually.
