Breastfeeding is the most important care for newborns. We recommend mothers to feed their babies within an hour after birth. In general, mothers should feed their babies as and when the baby demands, but we advise that newborns should be fed a minimum of eight to ten times a day with two to three hour intervals between each feed.    [read more]
