22 September, 2007 - The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) President Jigmi Y Thinleys visit to Nanong gewog in Pemagatshel last week occasioned a frantic burst of activity among the villagers, hoping to meet someone they had heard so much about but had never seen. This, interestingly, was the home of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Jigme Dukpa, a musical hero, who had earned national fame as a folk singer.
