22 November, 2007 - Enhancing security along the Indo-Bhutan border to check infiltration of Indian insurgent groups and anti-social elements into Bhutanese territory was one of the issues discussed at the 17th border districts coordination meeting (BDCM) in Thimphu on November 18 between Bhutanese officials and a delegation from the Indian state of West Bengal.

22 November, 2007 - A fire, that erupted inside the house of Pem Dechen in Chengmari, Samtse dzongkhag on November 17, would have proved fatal had it not been extinguished in time. Although what now remains of the house is only burnt out walls and blackened CGI sheets. The gutted house, situated near the Chengmari dratshang, was also located near a paddy field full of dry paddy ready for harvesting.

21 November, 2007 - Between November 17 and 19, the People’s Democratic Party held a series of familiarisation meetings in the southern district of Samtse, covering three of the four constituencies with a voter population of 30,917 voters in Tendu, Bara, Sibsoo, Biru, Yoeseltse, Ugyentse, Samtse and Chengmari.

21 November, 2007 - In a whirlwind tour of the south, the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa, led by its president Jigmi Y Thinley, met with thousands of people in nine places of the two dzongkhags, Sarpang and Samtse, from November 17 to 20.
