After a six-week familiarization tour of the east, the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) president Jigmi Thinley arrived in the capital yesterday.

A DPT press release says the president covered Pemagatshel, Samdrupjongkhar, Trashigang, Trashiyangtse, Mongar, Lhuentse, and Bumthang and included 17 days of trekking. More than 20,000 people attended the meetings, which numbered 80.
